I proud myself on being a very open honest women, therefore there is not anything that I cannot tell my mate. The truth of the matter is yes there are some things that need not be spoken, however when asked one should not have a problem with sharing. I am a true believer that what is done in the dark shall truly come to the late eventually......Plus I also believe it is of the essence for the male mate to be open and honest as well....

As 4 me, it depends on d kind of man & kind of relationship! If its ur husband, u tell him 90% of ur secret & 10% 2 ursef & GOD but also depend on wether u share secret with him or not ooh, bcoz if he didnt tell u his so keep urs.. but if he honestly seek 4 it, dont lie because most times our secret or lies catchup with us in d future & its catastrophic den wen he find out himsef!...

But som men can not stand or handly d truth & d implication while odas cant seal their mouth, so depend on d type of man tooo..

Best to keep slient on the things you know will cause problems, in your relationship a man does not need to now everything, neither does a woman but if they find out, watch out hahahaha

why is it not advisable?

A wise guy will not use ur past against u,rather he will make sure u dint make the same mistake again by advising you and correcting you when u try to go wrong.So,letting ur man know ur past is the best and that will also makes him trust u more .So,ladies be wise and do the right thing.
