Mike Bamiloye, a prominent Nigerian clergyman and founder of Mount Zion Faith Ministries, has criticized some Nigerian pastors with large congregations, commonly referred to as mega parishes.

He accused these pastors of misleading their congregants with "fake news," emphasizing superficial aspects such as fashion, vainglory, and their personal egos rather than genuine spiritual teachings and growth.

Bamiloye's critique highlights concerns about the priorities and messages being conveyed by certain influential religious leaders.

He suggests that these pastors are more focused on their personal image and status than on the core values of Christianity and the spiritual well-being of their followers.
