Pope Francis, the head of the Catholic Church and sovereign of the Vatican City State, Rome, has called on the world to pray for Nigeria.
In a statement on his official Twitter page, the Pope said, the country needs prayers for the avoidance of violence.

Quote
“Let us pray to the Lord for Nigeria, so that every form of violence might always be avoided, in the constant search of social harmony through the promotion of justice and the common good,” he tweeted.
This comes after about five days of unrest that has taken lives as well as destruction to properties in many states across the country.

The chaos is an aftermath of a peaceful protest against police brutality that was hijacked by hoodlums who went as far as looting businesses and burning down police stations in major states in the country.

Thank you very much popy for your concern, you can as well use this medium to preach signs of the last days, what hope do humans have on human government, can't you see it so now clearer that humans can't rule themselves in peace and security, preach pope preach to the world so that those that don't know will come to realise and maybe have a hope when there is no hope, prayers without work is completely dead...
