The undergraduate sparked fears at the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) when she fell sick after coming in contact with late Ebola-infected doctor, Iyke Enemuo

It’s more good news for the country as the undergraduate of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile Ife, Osun State who was suspected to have Ebola has tested negative.

The management of the school has stated that the girl does not have the disease, the New Telegraph reports.
The undergraduate sparked Ebola fears when she fell ill after supposedly confessing that she had made contact with the late Port Harcourt doctor, Iyke Enemuo.
Enemuo died on August 22 after contracting the disease from an ECOWAS diplomat he secretly treated.
OAU’s Public Relations Officer, Abiodun Olanrewaju, reportedly said:
“The preliminary result of the girl is out and she tested negative. “Another test will be done tomorrow.
“The university will issue a statement on this later today.”
This comes as the Health Minister, Onyebuchi Chukwu issued a statement saying that there is no confirmed case of the Ebola disease left in the country.
