The 'mere fact' that she is a Nigerian only makes her a Nigerian woman period. Nothing about her alleged double standards is Nigerian. I don't know the complete story and the poster seems to be biased against Nigerian women already but I know one person does not represent everybody .  Different individuals have their have double standards, it is an individual character not a group character. Different individuals from Ghana, America, Singapore ... may have double standard, it does not make all the people from Ghana, America, Singapore ... one thing. Its unfortunate that a lot of us seem to think one person speaks for all, judging by recent posts.  If we go that route we are all terrible people because Nigerian men have horrible stereotypes and Nigerians probably have the worst stereotype as a group of people. If you are going to say all Nigerian women are a certain way, have double standards, lazy and the rest, I can call you a thief, a scammer and the rest... just saying.  When do we start thinking?
you are here criticizing the poster for being biased and also generalizing his thought about Nigerian women. but just check your comment in reds..what does that mean to you?

Huh? it means Nigerian men have negative stereotype.

This is a very serious allegation. Do you have any proof on that?

Huh? how does one woman represent Nigerian women? that can easily be any woman from any nationality... theres nothing Nigerian about it. You knew exactly what you were doing by addressing 'Nigerian women' . I guess unnecessary arguments excites some people.
There is everything NIGERIAN about this. It is no secret that NIGERIAN WOMEN have issues with the NIGERIAN men getting married to white women... They will either conclude that (1) he is with her for papers, (2) she is with him to make him a sex slave (3) she is with him because he is her slave duty-wise and finally that she is a gold digger (if the dude is financially stable).
Again not all Nigerian women, but for the argument sake lets say all Nigerian Women have a problem with Nigerian men marrying outside their race, lets say every one is the same as their group... First what does that have to do with the double standard you are talking about, is this what you post is about?  you should have make it clear. So Nigerian women have a problem with Nigerian men marrying out... why is that difficult to understand?  People generally marry within their race, culture... and generally marrying out frowned upon more in some areas that others. Some white people want to only marry white people, some Asians want to marry only Asians, some people want to marry only with in their country even with in cities, culture, clans and so on. In Nigerian,  some Yorubas ( dont attack me I picked randomly  and I know not all Yorubas do that ) would only marry Yorubas, and some would only marry Yorubas from a certain state, some would only marry Yorubas from a certain village in that state. Sometimes its because of the negative stereotypes that have of the other people, sometimes its to preserve culture and so on. Why is it difficult to understand that Nigerian women do not like Nigerian men marrying out? its in various groups its not a Nigerian women thing, is it worse when Nigerian women do it. And Nigerian men (if we stereotyping might as well) too have a problem with Nigerian women marrying out, its not just women... that would make it a Nigerian thing

The issue is not whether Nigerian women have problems with Nigerian Men getting married to white women (that we all know). The issue is the level of double standard (this girl in the post) that are displayed as a result of hatred and jealously against the inter-racial couple. For example this lady whom used to enjoy the man helping her out and doing stuff for her which she said made her believe the man really cared for her BUT now they are no longer married, he does these same things for the white woman and it is being called ENSLAVED by this NIGERIAN WOMAN... Double Standard huh? Or whatelse would you call it.

obviously you don't understand. Nigerian men have horrible stereotypes is not the same as Nigerian men are horrible... different things. How is saying a group has a -ve stereotype and insult.

"If you are going to say all Nigerian women are a certain way, have double standards, lazy and the rest, I can call you a thief, a scammer and the rest... just saying"

ok whats the real issue here, it is Nigerian women/white women or Nigerian womens double standards, you cant seem to choose. If her husband was with another black woman, what it matter what she said about her husband being a slave.

Finally you're getting there. If the ex husband was with another black woman, she wouldn't have said what she said.I bet you she would've said some other stupid stuff displaying her jealousy anywayz. But because there is this mentality amongst nigerian women that any Nigerian man married to a white woman and helping out with house chores is automatically the white woman's bitch(excuse my language) or in other words the white woman's slave. it's all in the head. but in short, if the man does it for her, she calls it LOVE, CARE but if he does it for a white woman, she calls it ENSLAVED.

@typicalman84 I have heard within Nigeria, women complain that their husbands have left them he  is doing mumu for another woman,  actually thats quite common. It does matter if the women is white or black, she probably have said the same thing. Her reaction would be common white to white, black to black black to white and any other race.  So you problem is really about Nigerian women/white women and not  Nigerian womens double standards
